Is FastMonday easy? Or is it hard!
Most people use the words hard and easy with out really thinking. They refer to their feelings – not the physical Universe.
Climbing Everest is hard. You have to fly to Nepal, Trek for a week to get to base camp. Hire Sherpas, be part of an expedition, pay fees to the government etc etc.
Setting up a restaurant is hard. You need premises, chefs, waiters, pots, pans, plates, food, tables, menus etc etc.
Stopping smoking is not hard. You don’t need anything.
Fasting is not hard. You don’t need anything.
Now – I am not saying it is easy – just don’t overcomplicate things. And watch what words come out of your mouth. You can literally language your life – and take a stand for own future at the same time!

Hi Brent,
just completed my first day today – and you are SO right about our language seriously influencing how we feel! I kept reminding myself that of course I’m still eating…. just in a different form…
And I adapted things slightly as I tend to have hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar) which I usually manage by having a bit of extra protein (I had some miso soup late morning and at the end the day as it has some soya protein in it.)
I found I had a slight headache at one point – so I just drank a pint of water, and then forgot about it – I was just a bit dehydrated.
I’m really pleased to have this forum as support, as I definitely have some very unhealthy habits I want to transform over time.
“Progress, not perfection”
thanks!
Tracey
