Keep it simple! Start off with a basic juice – try apple, carrot and ginger.

Once you’re in the swing of it, try new things, have fun, experiment!

Oh and try to balance your vegetables with juice too – or it can get a little acidic on your poor stomach.

Might as well face it….

You’re addicted to love. Well food morelike.

The great thing about Fasting is that it restores taste appreciation for wholesome natural foods. People say that their taste buds come alive after fasting and that food never tasted so good.

This is great for me, as by the end of the weekend I’ve often found myself munching away on treats and snacks, vowing to stop it all come Monday. By Fasting every Monday, it forces a break in my habits and routine, pulling my palate back into line to have healthier foods!

One of our fasters, Karen found this really helpful when stopping smoking. It seems there was a c0nnection somehow between smoking and eating unhealthy foods – once she took on Fasting, the taste of cigarettes was so alien, it put her off smoking completely! The discipline of fasting also really helps train the mind to overcome other addictions.

Which sadly is the case with so many people …. we’re a nation whose mass population is addicted to unhealthy food.
