Crazy Tuesday
To be successful with FastMonday it is crucial that you have a great Tuesday and not a Crazy Tuesday.
Coming out of the fast or breaking the fast (Breakfast!) is as important as the fast itself. There is no point fasting on a Monday if you then go mad on the Tuesday.
The most important thing is to take it gently in the morning.
Start with water and juice and then begin eating small portions of simple foods -
cereals, fruit, muslei, seeds, dried fruit etc. and whatever you do dont shovel down an enormous fry up. It will make you ill.
Your stomach has been resting for 36 hours and needs time to adjust.
You may be surprised at how you don’t feel that hungry at first.
Make sure you have lots of healthy food in and plan what you will eat in the evening.
You should regard the fast as more than a one day event. Tuesday is as important as Monday. The whole point of FastMonday is it starts to impact your eating habits overall and gain control over what goes into your body.
Remember – Biologically we are hard wired to eat whenever we can – especially after not eating for a while.
You will feel fantastic on Tuesday – but take care and don’t muck it up by gorging.
If you do find yourself overeating or gorging on the Tuesday it may be that FastMonday is not for you.
